Once upon a time, there was a young fresh faced girl with a love for horses who grew up in the desert. She spent many years under the careful tutelage of her mentor who took her to far away lands to learn from others even more accomplished than herself. At last, the girl's mentor took her aside and said "Lo!, I have spent these many years honing your craft so that you might one day be invited to distant lands and pass from my hands to those of another who has gone to many great places and has competed in fronts of lords and ladies, and who has won many wonderful metals of bronze, silver and gold. At last, you have been invited and given this totally rockin' working student position. Isn't that AWESOME?"

And the young fresh faced girl did thusly agree that it was indeed Awesome. So the young fresh faced girl traveled far from her family and her home under the sun to distant lands where she would face strangers, hardships, bitter cold, and many other undoubtedly fabulous adventures in her quest to become a better horsewoman.
